Wild Soul & Shadow: Weaving Soulful Community

  • Pine Street Church Parlor 1237 Pine Street Boulder, Colorado, 80302 United States (map)

WEAVING SOULFUL COMMUNITY’at THE GROVE in BOULDER

You are invited for two gatherings to WEAVE SOULFUL COMMUNITY in and through all our interconnected and diverse roots. These two Circle of Trust® evening programs will focus on healing and unpacking the power of the Shadow in our lives as individuals and as a collective. As a community focused, healing-centered gathering we will delve into the shadowlands of our bodies, our ancestry, and our religious traditions. As caring citizens, wounded healers, and nature lovers, when we set aside space to thrive like a grove of aspens, we will deepen our soul journeys together and trust for fresh action towards societal change in our Front Range communities.

Each circle will be hosted by Mary and Eric Durham and guided by Carol Kortsch who has been leading Courage & Renewal work here in Boulder for the past eight years. After a talk and group conversation with our speaker, we’ll offer deepening triads to work with soulful questions around the multi-layered topic of Shadow.

'WILD SOUL and SHADOW'

with WILL FORSYTHE

Pine Street Church, 1237 Pine St, Boulder.

Dec 2nd 6:00 – 8.30 pm appetizers provided at 5:45pm

Will Forsythe is a pastor at All Souls Church of Boulder and the founder of Wild Soul Collective, where he leads retreats and offers one-on-one spiritual direction. His work is rooted in Courage & Renewal, and in the practical, often messy work of holding new imagination and inherited tradition together rather than choosing one over the other. Years spent alongside people in recovery and in grief have taught him something plain: our religious life, old and new, doesn't just shape our beliefs — it leaves a shadow across how we live. But there are gifts waiting for us in the dark too, and our work is learning to walk together — and with the divine, however each of us names it — into that dark rather than around it.

Held in the season of Advent, this circle offers space to name what our religious life, old and new, has left behind, and to walk into the dark of this season together, trusting the wholeness that awaits us.
